He draws on decades of business experience buying, selling, and building residential and commercial properties, plus entrepreneurial ventures dating to 1980 (including founding the award-winning technology company PC Professionals, Inc.).

Educated in Business Finance at WSU and Cal State Northridge, he received the 2013 President's Award and 2018 Special Achievement Award from the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of Realtors, served on its Board of Directors 2012-2019, and was TPCAR Treasurer in 2019.
